Camping & The rest of Summer

We went camping about almost a month or so ago. It was our first family camping. I'm not a tent type of person, but hearing Hazel said "Mommy, my dream comes true" makes me want to be one. Hazel loved every minutes of it, especially with miss Afton by her side almost all the time.

Here are the pictures:
The girls fell asleep after the non-stop chatting. Funny how squeezed in Hazel was, but she didn't mind at all as long as Afton was in the car with her. :)

The lighthouse at Westport (Hazel wasn't too happy cause she didn't reach the height limit to go up).

uncle Kirk treated us to a very soft & yummy donut.
Floating Reid.

Thanks for tarps, we managed not to get too soaked.
Little Miss S, amazingly slept 'better' in the tent.

waking up in the morning.
yummy breakfast served by aunt Charith.

Collecting sand dollars at westport before heading home.

It was wet, but we had fun at our first family camping trip. Thanks to the Kirk's to make it even more fun!

And below are pictures that we haven't posted while we're enjoying the last bit of our summer.
Stake Carnival Party (a very hot but fun day)

Blueberry picking time

Swimming & sunbathing in style

Visiting the Zoo

Beach & Hiking

Free Day at Space Needle

Playdates

Tomorrow is Hazel's first day of Kindergarten. A while back, she was 100% she wants to go Full day instead of half-day. Yesterday night, she had a full blown tears informing me how she's going to miss me if she goes full day. Life is an adventure right? If it's scripted, then it won't be called one. We'll give you an update in how our First Day of K will be in the next coming post. Stay tune.

In the mean time Guess, who's turning 1 pretty soon???? I have a mixed feeling about this.
