On Thursday, Hazel was so ready to go to her ballet class wearing this (including the smile):
As soon as we got there we noticed something strange.....a lot of cars driving away and the building looked pretty dark inside. I pulled down the window to ask one of the mom from her class, and she said "They don't have power, so the class is canceled." We were bummed, especially Hazel. But, we quickly got over it and got ourselves prepared for the storm. We knew that it's coming, but didn't realize already affect power lost. We gassed up, did grocery and noticed that the closest McDonald also lost power. We remember last storm pretty well when my parents were here. We thought we're prepared, but were nowhere near it. We prepared more since our last experience, but really, who knows?
Hazel turned 33 months yesterday.....just 3 months away from turning the big 3 yr-old :) A lot of times I never realized that she grows. Maybe after putting on her pants and discovered that it's too short.....but most of the time, I have a hard time seeing it. Yesterday though as she tracing the number book, I realized that my girl IS growing up. ;|

So how was the storm?
It was so windy and cold here. I hate the wind.

It is good to prepare for such outages. Sorry about the ballet class. She looks so ready to dance. We had our share of wind here, but not too much. We are hoping the meat will be ready soon so we can get to see you.
