Indonesia: Part Two

We did a lot on our first & second weekends here. We'll post pictures of the highlights in the slide shows below.

First Weekend

We ate at a cook-your-own-food restaurant hoping that Hazel would have a blast (unfortunately she slept almost to the end). There was a 7-month ceremony for my sister's pregnancy to bless the baby and using the traditional method to guess the sex of the baby. They predicted a Boy -- well, the ultrasound already told that a while ago though :) Then the next day, we spent a day of Fun at 'Taman Safari' to see all the animals. It's a "drive through" zoo, so from inside the car we saw all the animals outside. Hazel loved it! She was amazed that she could feed carrots to the animals through the car window (not the carnivores, of course). We also did a train ride, merry-go round, and took pictures with the leopard & orangutan. It was an exciting experience but scary at the same time.


Second Weekend

We basically just hung out with family that are available during the weekday since the adults are working and the big cousins go to school. But, on the weekends, we did stuff with them. Mas Vasska did a sleepover with Hazel. SO cute to see they love each other. They did pretty well during the sleepover. We also went to the mall to shop for Hazel's toys, did train ride, and got her the snow white costume for family picture since mbak Inan will wear her princess costume in it. Then on the weekend, we went to Seaworld and went swimming. Hazel went nuts about those. She really enjoyed going inside the water tank tunnel inside the Seaworld. She went in for abut 10 times maybe and it's a pretty long tunnel. She also enjoyed to pet the starfish, saw them fed the sharks. The next day, they went swimming at Atlantis water park. We all had a great time.

Today is September 17th.....so, Happy Birthday to Me & Charith!! love you Charith.
