Advent Calendar Activities.....take 1

For some reason I'm not feeling IT this year, but after seeing Hazel gets so excited putting up the Christmas tree, ornaments and decorations (pretty much all by herself), it made me want to be excited with her.

Here's what we've done so far:

On the First, Hazel wrote a letter to Santa listing what she wants this year and put it inside her stocking so He could get it.


Second, she painted an ornament and hung it on the tree all by herself.





Third, we watched the classic "Rudolph" movie. Notice how she's been wearing her Rudolph antlers all the time. The only time she let me take it off was sleeping, school and bath times.









Fourth, she made her owns paper snowflakes. Later, she asked her dad to hang them in her room.










Fifth, we made a yummy hot chocolate and read stories while Daddy was having fun at the menrichment with the boys. No picture.


Sixth, we were going to go to Merry-Go-Round at Downtown Seattle, but Hazel & Quinn were having a cold. So, we opted to stay home and watched Polar Express while jumping on the bed instead. We also made cookies.
