Happy Father's Day

Today, we're celebrating our fathers (a new tradition for me since we don't have father's day in Indonesia). Hazel knows what today is, and it's so cute when she keeps saying "Happy Father's Day daddy!" Hazel has a wonderful dad and she knows it. He is her buddy, her best teacher & playmate, and our source of fun. We love him very much and grateful to have him.

To celebrate it, we made him his favorite food & cookies. The French toast came out a little too sweet to our taste (note to self: Don't try on new recipes to celebrate any important day!). We also made the Tres Leches Cake from Alton Brown. So, last night we had a busy non-stop mixer and hopefully someday, we'll get a stand mixer :)



Happy Father's Day to Papah & Dad! Hope you have a wonderful one. We're very grateful to have you in our lives. Happy Father's Day also to my brothers and brother's in-laws!
