A Good Day

Tuesday was a great day. We spent the morning at the zoo with Hazel's little friends and their moms. We saw jaguar, gorillas, and penguins that day...that's the beauty of having a membership with the little ones....we can always come back another time for other animals. Especially when they start whining for no reason (other than getting sleepy or tired, but won't admit it). Then before we head home, we had a little lunch picnic. By now you probably all know that we love picnic, don't you? :)

Then in the afternoon, we headed downtown to scream -- Happy Birthday taManda! Manda is my friend since kindergarten. We lost contact when I moved during junior high, but we saw each other again here in Seattle when we both were going to college. We love her and consider her & Dave our family :) She's due in December, can't wait to see their little one.


Hazel opening her Christmas present from Om Dave & taManda....(they kept on forgetting to give it to her). She loves them....they're all the classic stories of Ginger Bread Man, Cinderella, etc. Thanks guys!


We went to eat at Indonesian Restaurant at Northgate for dinner. But, I think Hazel's highlight of the day was when she went to the donut store (next door to the restaurant) with daddy and got to pick all the donuts herself. The store was closing, so they received EXTRA donuts.....

We brought some to music class today, but we still got left over. Want some donuts?
