A Birthday Party for our Silly Girl!

It's pretty obvious the theme is CARS. No, I didn't make the cake. It's all American chocolate cake from Costco that we've been eying on for a while (2 yrs about). She had requested for a lightning McQueen cake, but I was worried that it's not going to turn out. Baking the cake was not the problem, decorating it to look like McQueen....now that's a problem. Hazel only asked one time "But, I want lightning McQueen cake" -- which broke my heart a little. But, after I showed her the candle we put on the cake, she's happy.

Here comes the Birthday Girl! ....coming out from the annual streamers. Doesn't she look big?

The Food:
I'm glad everyone loves everything. We had high pulp OJ that someone thinks it's fresh squeezed. I'm just happy that the food wasn't a disappointment since my friend Debbie is such a good cook.


The Activities:

Quinn dumped out the candies after the kiddos trying for a while in a cold balcony.


Pin the tail on the Donkey......oh we had so much laugh since the adults also participated. Guess who put the tail the farthest one? Mommy won for that category. :) We're talking about way out.


After sang Happy Birthday, blew the candle and ate the cake with Mom & Dad.


Presents Time:
Her friends are really generous. We stated in the invite that Present is not necessary since Hazel really just want to have them over to play & eat the cake with her, but they still brought presents. Thank you so much you guys! We're so happy that you all came even if without presents.

Opening present from miss Afton. She loves to make the pretend cupcakes. We need to make the real ones from the included packets soon.


Opening present from Sebree & James. Light up duckies and bath crayons. She actually requested a bath with those right after her friends going home.


Opening a big present from Ellie. She's been playing with the baby now and try to be a good mommy by reading to her, feeding her and putting her to bed. I'm really hoping this will stick.


Playing with the new video games from Papah & Ibu.


After her nap, the celebration continues.

Getting Cody from Build a bear. She's been wanting to get a doll from there since forever and this day finally comes to her. See how happy she looks?


She then requested pasta for dinner.


And ice cream & gummy bear for a treat.
