A Busy but Fun Day

In the morning, my VT Kelli, invited us to go to Botanical Garden to walk around and visit. It turned out that she had invited my friend and VT, Paula, as well. So, that was nice that we had a nice visit with everybody......although trying to have Hazel not to rip off the leaves was a little challenging.

The little fountain at the botanical garden was a hot spot for the kids. Hazel was soaked within 5 minutes. Then after walking around for a while, the moms decided that going to the park might have been a better idea since our little ones were getting into things. Hazel loves the swing and the monkey bar at Wilburton Park.















Afterwards, Kelli invited all of us to have lunch at her place. It was not too hot nor too cold of a day, so that was a lovely lunch with everybody at her deck.

For dinner, we went to Red Mill burger in Phinney Ridge neighborhood. We've been wanting to try it since our friend Manda & Dave recommend it. It was good and glad that we tried it. Hazel ate lots....that's always a plus for me. This is my attempt to have our family portrait in front of their sign. :) You can at least see my cheek right?

After dinner, we went to Green Lake to walk around and watch the sunset. I love that place, it holds many good memories with me. My graduation luncheon was there, my first jog with Quinn was there (you should ask the funny story with this one when you see me next), my afternoon walks with my many friends was there. I always dream to own a house there and walk around the lake every day. Quinn knows it....
